Building Confidence, Leadership & Teamwork Through Basketball
Girls CYO Basketball provides student-athletes in 3rd through 8th Grade with the opportunity to compete in a supportive, challenging, and faith-filled environment. Through practices, games, and teamwork, players strengthen their basketball skills while developing confidence, leadership, resilience, and sportsmanship.
Representing St. Finn Barr in the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), our teams compete against schools and programs throughout San Francisco and surrounding areas while building lasting friendships, school spirit, and a love for the game.
Whether an athlete is new to basketball or an experienced player, our program encourages every student to grow both on and off the court while proudly representing the Shamrocks.

Practice schedules and game times are determined by the CYO league and availability of coaching staff.
Registration
Registration for Girls CYO Basketball is completed through St. Finn Barr Athletics.

Registration is based on player interest, coach availability, and league roster limits.
Registration Fee
The St. Finn Barr Athletics Gym Sports fee for the 2026–2027 school year is $350 per player.
Your athletics fee helps support:
- League registration and fees
- Gym rentals
- Equipment
- Uniforms
- Program operating expenses

- Registration Opens: January 14, 2027
- Registration Deadline: January 21, 2027
- Practice Information Released: February 2027
- Spring Season Begins: March 2027
