Extended Care

St. Finn Barr Catholic School’s Extended Care program provides students with a safe, welcoming place to complete homework, enjoy a snack, participate in activities, and spend time with friends after the school day ends.

Extended Care is available after school dismissal until 6:00 p.m. Students in Kindergarten through 4th Grade attend Extended Care in the Kindergarten classroom, while students in 5th through 8th Grade attend in the Science Lab.

Daily Schedule

Students should report directly to their assigned Extended Care classroom at dismissal to check in.

From 3:00-3:30 p.m., students will have a snack and may work on homework or participate in quiet activities. Beginning at 3:30 p.m., students may play outside in the schoolyard or enjoy supervised free play in their classrooms.

Program Details

Extended Care is a flexible, drop-in program available to St. Finn Barr students on regularly scheduled school days unless otherwise noted on the school calendar.

  • Hours: After school dismissal-6:00 p.m.
  • Cost: $10 per hour, per child
  • Late pickup fee: $10 per minute after 6:00 p.m.
  • Billing statements issued on the 5th of each month
  • Payments due on the 20th of each month

Please email the school office regarding any last-minute Extended Care schedule changes.

ProCare Check-In and Pickup

All students are automatically enrolled in ProCare, the platform used to manage Extended Care attendance, authorized pickups, and billing. Families will receive an email from ProCare with instructions for accessing their account.

Adults picking up a child must use their personal PIN or QR code to complete checkout. Each authorized adult must be registered in ProCare to receive a code.
