Elaine BautistaElaine is a higher education student services professional. Currently, at City College of San Francisco, she is the program manager of Guardian Scholars (TAY Foster Youth) and the Homeless At-Risk Transitional Students programs. Elaine serves on the CCSF Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) Advisory Board and Student Health Advisory Committee, as well as the SFUSD Foster Youth Executive Advisory Council. Her professional efforts have focused on workforce development, mental illness stigma reduction, and college success for equity populations. She was a San Francisco cooperative preschool parent at Glenridge Cooperative and attended San Francisco Catholic schools (Corpus Christi & Mercy SF). Her children are currently attending Riordan High School and St. Finn Barr.
Mike DanielsMike Daniels and his wife, Brigid Walsh, have two children at Saint Finn Barr’s and are happy to be part of the school community. Mike is a Catholic educational professional with experience in ministry, program development, teaching, and administration in the parish setting and at the elementary, high school, and university levels. Currently, Mike serves as the Director of Education for the De La Salle Christian Brothers District of San Francisco, New Orleans. In this role, Mike serves on the District Leadership Team and provides governance advising, leadership support, and mission formation for the 22 schools of the District and their Boards, administrators, teachers, and students. Mike enjoys serving on the SFB Advisory Board and is inspired by Saint Finn Barr’s student-centered culture and our shared commitment to meeting the spiritual, academic, physical, and emotional needs of every child entrusted to our care.
Renee EspinozaRenee and her wife, Mary Jo, have two children, Josie (class of 2021) and Ace (class of 2026). Renee is currently the Director of Strategy at Metta Fund, a small local foundation committed to reducing health inequities for older adults in San Franciscans. Renee has over 25 years of experience leading and developing community-based nonprofits with an emphasis on strategic planning, program development, and volunteer engagement. Prior to Metta fund, she served as the Executive Director at SFCASA, San Francisco Education Fund, and SFPAL. She has enjoyed being a part of the SFB community with its accepting and engaging spirit, serving on the parent board, sports board, and volunteering at school-wide events. Renee joined the Advisory Board in November of 2022.
Carlos FernandezCarlos Fernandez, an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) and alumnus of the Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University in New York City, is currently the Controller for the Duggan-Welch family in San Francisco. His affiliations extend to organizations such as the AICPA and the NAEA, reflecting his commitment to ethical practices. In addition to his professional endeavors, Carlos plays an active role in his local community. He is a member of the Budget and Finance committee at St. Finn Barr Catholic School, located in the picturesque Sunnyside neighborhood. As a father of two students, Carlos is a familiar face at weekend games, where he enthusiastically supports his children. His involvement in both his professional and personal life showcases his multifaceted personality and dedication.
Eric KlostermanEric Klosterman and his wife, Michelle, are former St Finn Barr parents who have two children, a dog and a cat. Eric operates City Realty and Investments in San Francisco, and Michelle is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. While at St Finn Barr, Eric and Michelle were active volunteers on the Parent Board, Room Parents, Festival Committee, and Men's Club. Eric joined the Advisory Board in early 2023 and is part of the Plant and Facilities Committee.
Dustin NovoDustin Novo was the St. Finn Barr Parent Board president from 2014-2015. He graduated from the University of California, Riverside, with a BS in Business Administration and then earned a Secondary Teaching Credential at Long Beach State. He moved on to the University of Guadalajara, Autonoma, where he studied Spanish. Due to a series of fortunate events, he found himself working for the San Francisco Fire Department and is now the Captain of Engine 43 in the Excelsior District. He resides with his wife, Chrisoula, in the Portola District of San Francisco and has two children who attended St. Finn Barr, Classes of 2018 and 2020. Maria is currently a Sophomore at San Diego State, and Alexander is a senior at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Greg RidenourGreg Ridenour has been a Saint Finn Barr Parish member for over 35 years. He is a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and currently serves on the Parish Finance Council. Greg is a native of Washington, DC. He attended college at Tulane University in New Orleans, BS in Psychology, MS in Urban Studies, where he met his wife. They have two grown sons. Greg retired from the City and County of San Francisco, most noticeably as assistant department head at the War Memorial and Performing Arts Center. Greg enjoys being part of the Advisory Board. He believes the school is a valuable asset for the parish and the wider community, and the support of the parish is essential for the continued success of Saint Finn Barr School.
Alejandra PlascenciaAlejandra Plascencia and her husband were both born and raised in San Francisco and the Peninsula. They have three children, two of whom currently attend St. Finn Barr. Alejandra has been a Paralegal for over 10 years. She loves to spend time with family and read any chance she gets. Alejandra has volunteered as a room parent for both children and joined the Advisory Board in 2023.
