Faith Families
Faith Families is a program that allows our students the opportunity to learn, read, pray and do activities together. Each family is composed of students across grades and led by an 8th grader(s).
Students participate in various events throughout the year with their Faith Family - read alouds, crafts, and joining together for a Seder Meal on Holy Thursday.
Seder Meal
The Seder Meal is a ritual feast that marks the beginning of the Jewish holiday of Passover. Jesus shared in this meal with His disciples the night before He was crucified. We join in this ritual as a school in our Faith Families each Holy Thursday to commemorate the Last Supper that Jesus had with His disciples on Holy Thursday. In understanding that Christ came to redeem the world, we celebrate this meal with a Christian attitude during the seder meal.
