Junior Space Pioneers: Embark on a fun journey to space with Scratch! Send an astronaut to the moon and defend your moon base from space rocks. Learn how to use Scratch to create and program sprites, backdrops and basic scripts. Create a new program each day, leave with evidence of your wild space adventure, and be inspired to explore the universe of programming as a Space Pioneer.
RoboGames using Lego Robot Inventor: Welcome to the RoboGames Carnival, a place where robots can have fun, compete, and go on exciting adventures. In this workshop, students will build their own robot using the LEGO Robot Inventor kit. They will learn the basics of block coding and learn to wire and program touch sensors, color sensors, and distance sensors. Finally, they will use the EFK Engineering Design Process to complete exciting, carnival-themed challenges and competitions.
