Halloween Costume Guidelines
As Halloween approaches, we’d like to remind families of our costume guidelines to ensure that the day is both fun and safe for everyone. Students are encouraged to wear a Halloween costume to school on Friday, October 31st.
Please keep the following in mind when preparing your child’s costume:
School-Appropriate: Costumes should be suitable for a school setting. Please avoid costumes or masks that may be too scary or gory for younger students.
Masks & Headgear: These may be worn during the school-wide parade but should be removed during class time.
Mobility & Safety: Students should be able to move comfortably and use the restroom with ease. Footwear must allow safe movement, including walking up and down stairs.
Inflatable Costumes: These are not permitted.
Respectful Choices: Costumes must be respectful and not offensive to any cultural or religious group.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us make Halloween a day filled with fun, creativity, and safety for all of our Shamrocks!
