A Celebration of Faith, Family, and Community

Each fall, St. Finn Barr Catholic School and Parish come together to celebrate our patron saint with a joyful day filled with faith, fellowship, and fun! The Feast of St. Finn Barr Festival is one of our most beloved annual traditions - a true reflection of the vibrant spirit that defines our SFB community.

A Day to Celebrate

The day begins with a bilingual Holy Mass, honoring Saint Finn Barr and the blessings of our school and parish community. Following Mass, the celebration continues across the schoolyard and Goode Hall with games, music, delicious food, and family-friendly entertainment.

Festival guests enjoy:

  • Live music and DJ entertainment throughout the day
  • BBQ and international food booths hosted by SFB families and Parish groups
  • Classic carnival games and competitions for all ages
  • Raffles, prizes, and sponsor giveaways
  • Sweet treats and baked goods
  • Photo booth and special attractions (recent years have featured fun Western and rodeo themes)

More than just a day of celebration, the Feast of St. Finn Barr Festival represents the heart of our community - where current and prospective families, alumni, parishioners, and neighbors come together in faith and friendship. The event supports both the school and parish, with proceeds helping to sustain programs and campus improvements that benefit every Shamrock.

The festival is open to the public and admission is free. Whether you’re an SFB family, an alum returning home, or a prospective parent exploring our school for the first time, we invite you to experience the warmth, energy, and spirit that make St. Finn Barr so special.
