Our community is built on showing up for one another.

The SFB Kindness Collective is a community care initiative created to connect needs within our school community with the generosity, talents, resources, and connections already present among our families, alumni, parishioners, and Friends of St. Finn Barr.

Sometimes kindness is something small. Sometimes it provides meaningful support during a challenging season. Through the SFB Kindness Collective, we hope to make it easier for members of our community to help one another in thoughtful and practical ways.

How the SFB Kindness Collective Works

When a need arises within our school community, the SFB administrative team will help determine whether the Kindness Collective may be able to provide support.

Members of our broader community who have offered to help may then be contacted when an opportunity arises that matches the type of support they are able to provide.

There is no expectation that every person who joins the SFB Kindness Collective will be able to help every time. An offer of support simply lets us know that you are open to hearing about opportunities to help when they arise.

Kindness Can Take Many Forms

There are many ways our community may be able to support one another, including:

  • Gift cards or other donated items
  • School uniforms or supplies
  • Meals
  • Transportation assistance
  • Professional skills or services
  • Community connections and resources
  • Helping fulfill a specific need when one arises

You don't have to know exactly how you can help. Sometimes simply being willing to connect someone with the right person or resource can make a difference.

Current families, alumni, parishioners, and Friends of St. Finn Barr are all invited to participate.

Completing the form does not commit you to providing assistance. It simply helps us understand the resources, skills, connections, or types of support available within our community so that we can reach out when an appropriate need arises.

Need Support?

The SFB Kindness Collective is here for our school community when a need arises.

Current SFB families who could use support can access the Kindness Collective: Need Support form through our private Beehively portal.

Requests are reviewed by the SFB administrative team and handled with care and discretion. Identifying information will only be shared when appropriate and with permission.

A Community That Cares

The SFB Kindness Collective isn't about one person or family doing everything. It's about recognizing what becomes possible when an entire community is willing to care for one another.

We may not be able to meet every need, but together, we can do our best to make sure members of our SFB community know they are not alone.
