Boys CYO Soccer

3rd–8th Grade

Competitive Play Rooted in Teamwork, Character & School Pride

Boys CYO Soccer provides student-athletes in 3rd through 8th Grade with the opportunity to compete in a fun, challenging, and faith-filled environment. Players continue to develop their soccer skills while learning the values of teamwork, perseverance, leadership, and good sportsmanship.

Representing St. Finn Barr in the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), our teams compete against schools throughout San Francisco while building friendships, confidence, and school spirit both on and off the field.

PracticesAfter school beginning in August. Grades 3–5 typically practice once per week; Grades 6–8 may practice twice per week
GamesPrimarily Saturdays (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and Sundays (1:00 PM–5:00 PM)
Game LocationsVarious recreation fields throughout San Francisco

Practice schedules and game times are determined by the league and coaching staff.

Registration

Registration for Boys CYO Soccer is completed through St. Finn Barr Athletics.

Please complete the following before the registration deadline:

  • Athletics Program Notices
  • EMT Waiver
  • Emergency / Medical Form

Registration is based on player interest, coach availability, and league roster limits.

Registration Fee

The St. Finn Barr Athletics Field Sports fee for the 2026–2027 school year is $275 per player.

Your athletics fee helps support league registration and fees, equipment, uniforms, facility rentals, and other program expenses.

Boys CYO Soccer offers student-athletes the opportunity to:

  • Develop advanced soccer skills and game strategy.
  • Compete against other CYO schools and programs throughout San Francisco.
  • Build teamwork, leadership, and confidence.
  • Practice good sportsmanship and represent St. Finn Barr with pride.
  • Celebrate accomplishments through league playoffs and end-of-season recognition.
