Fun Ceremonies Around the World
In this class students will be introduced to interesting ceremonies from around the world! Shedding light on other cultures helps students to be more inclusive in society by helping them cherish and understand the roots of differences. Class activities include, but are not limited to: discussion about our traditions regarding a given topic, being introduced to other cultures, recognitioon and cherishing of differences between cultures, making artwork (e.g. painting a mask or drawing a tattoo, and drawing from stories).
