These events will bring us together as a community, raise needed funds and are a lot fun! St. Finn Barr Catholic School relies solely on tuition and fundraising activities to support the school. Fundraising events are necessary to continue to maintain the quality of our student’s school life. St. Finn Barr fundraising enriches and enhances both the parents’ and children’s school experience. The 2022 Walk-a-Thon is just around the corner! Together, let’s reach our goal of raising $25,000! All proceeds will help to fund SFB's Resource Program, which supports our students academically, emotionally and socially. Please take the time to read this email all the way through as it contains important information about your mandatory participation, volunteer opportunities, and more.
All fully participating families are required to participate in this mandatory fundraiser by submitting either $200 in donations by Saturday, November 12th (the day of the event) or submitting a $225 buyout by Friday, November 18th. Please note that there is a $25 fee for late buyouts.

Don’t forget to submit a permission slip for each student you have at SFB. Note: Walk-a-Thon race bibs are being printed, so please get your permission slip in on time.
There are still so many amazing volunteer opportunities available for event set-up, day-of event (including new slots for our Merchandise and Uniform Exchange table), and event breakdown. Eco-Club - November Challenge
Join us in our monthly eco-club challenge! On 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵 please pack a no-waste lunch, snack, AND reusable water bottle! If students have hot lunch, then their snacks should be no-waste and compost hot lunch.
A no-waste lunch does not contain ANY garbage! Think of buying in bulk and using reusable containers, utensils, and water bottles. Students who participate will also earn a reward in class. Small changes can make a big difference! See photo below for more info.

We invite families and friends to join us at the Archbishop Riordan High School Theater on Thursday, December 15th as we celebrate the Christmas season with song and good cheer!
Admission is free and doors will open at 5:15pm. Students should arrive no later than 5:30pm so that they may join their class. The show will begin promptly at 6:00pm.
Attire - Sunday Best.
