Every six years, St. Finn Barr Catholic School welcomes an Accreditation visiting team to campus through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Western Catholic Educational Association.
The 2015 WASC/WCEA Accreditation process proved a great success for St. Finn Barr Catholic School! The self-study report developed by the faculty and staff in collaboration with school parents was affirmed by the visiting committee, who rated the school "highly effective" in nine of ten accreditation factors.
As a result, the school was granted a full 6-year accreditation status. For each year before 2021, the school will submit a report on the Action Plan generated by the 2015 self-study document. This year we are able to share the report along with evidence, action items, and goals with the visiting committee on February 9th-February 11th.
Due to the current circumstances, the visit will be virtual and all committee members will Zoom into classes and meetings.
We have learned so much through this experience and continue to strive for excellence as we create goals taken from our self-study.
