What is your favorite SFB memory?

My favorite memory at SFB was the class field trip to the SF Food Bank in seventh grade. It was really fun to hang out with my friends and help people through volunteering.

What tradition or event will you miss the most?

The tradition/event that I will miss the most is the haunted house every year. It was fun to go through it and to be part of it on student council. I will also miss the SFB Festivals at the beginning of the year.

What is your favorite SFB memory?

I don't really know what my favorite St. Finn Barr memory is. I have so many good ones to choose from. I'd say that the best memory I had was when we were at the Chabot Space Museum in 5th Grade, and we were all pretending to be part of mission control on a mission to Mars. We had to work together to make sure that all of the landing gear was equipped and that the "astronauts" had enough oxygen and resources to get from here to Mars. It was super fun. When we ended up "successfully landing on Mars", we all went nuts and started celebrating. It was probably my favorite field trip that I'd ever been on.

What tradition or event will you miss the most?

I'm going to miss the Walk-A-Thon and the St. Finn Barr Festival. I really liked those two events because they were super fun. The Walk-A-Thon was a nice way for me to be able to run laps with my friends and then see who ran the most laps at the end. The St. Finn Barr Festival was a good way for me to just have fun and hang out with my classmates outside of a school environment. These events really helped me get to know my classmates better, and see who they were besides students.

What are you most proud of?

I'm most proud of the accomplishments that my classmates and I have made individually and together over our years at St. Finn Barr. All of the things that we have achieved together here at St. Finn Barr have shaped our futures and where our paths will take us.

Shout-out

Thank you to my teachers and family!

What is your favorite SFB memory?

There are so many to choose from, but I think one of my top ones would definitely be the 6th grade field trip to Marin Headlands. I really enjoyed myself during that field trip, besides the part where I fell and ripped my pants, and I thought the things we got to see, do, and learn were awesome.

What tradition or event will you miss the most?

One school event I will definitely miss the most will be the pep rallies. Usually, the student council will organize and plan out the pep rallies, but we weren't able to do that this year due to COVID. My favorite part of the pep rallies were how the school came together to play fun games and cheer on their classmates. Pep rallies were a great way to express and show what the SFB spirit is all about!

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my grades and overall performance in school. I'm proud of myself for being able to keep up with my school work and for being able to turn in what I need to turn in on time.

Shout-out

I would like to give a huge shoutout to all the teachers for helping us adjust smoothly and helping their students as much as they can through these difficult times of distance learning. Especially since it was all of a sudden. I'd also like to give a shout out to the whole class of 2021 for making my years here amazing! I will miss them all so much, and I thank you all for being such a great class to be with for my nine years here, at St Finn Barr. I couldn't ask for a better mix of students who are all so kind, amazing, creative, funny, and so many more amazing, great qualities.

What is your favorite SFB memory?

One of my favorite SFB memories is when we were in kindergarten at after-school care. Most of the grades would play kickball in the yard and I really remember liking it. It seemed really cool to be able to play with the bigger kids and play kickball with my friends too. I liked how all the grades came and played a game together.

What tradition or event will you miss the most?

The tradition that I will miss the most would probably be just waiting outside for the bell to ring and the pledge and morning announcements. We haven't done that in a while and I always really liked that because you got to see almost everyone in the school.

I am most proud of the friendships I have had at St. Finn Barr from kindergarten to 8th grade. I am really glad I met so many people and have been able to have a lot of fun with them. And I look forward to meeting new people in high school.

What is your favorite SFB memory?

My favorite SFB memory was the field trip to Marin Headlands. I was able to spend time with my friends while also enjoying the beauty of the nature around us. I'll never forget how a hawk was hovering right next to me on a cliff! My favorite part of the trip was the "graduation ceremony" at the end. We rolled down a hill of succulents and got a cookie at the bottom. It was so fun, and I'll cherish those memories forever.

What tradition or event will you miss the most?

I will definitely miss the ice cream social. It's always at the beginning of the year, so you get to hang out with friends that you haven't seen for a few months. It's where I've had some of my best conversations. I loved staying until it was dark. We'd play hide and seek and tag in the shadows. It was always so much fun!

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of all of the hard work and effort that I have put into my education. I studied for hours each day to prepare for the HSPT and SSAT, and it paid off. I got accepted into ten high schools, and was offered several scholarships. It pays to work hard, and I'm so happy with what I've accomplished.

Shout-out

A special thank you to my family for always being there for me and helping me to do my best. Another special thank you to my teachers for always supporting me along my educational journey.
